The Point Of Sale requires write access to some specific folders in order be able to save image files and log files. Please follow the instructions below to set up write permission appropriately. Note: This applies only when the Point Of Sale was not installed using the provided installer.

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Go to the SmarterCommerce Point Of Sale path folder
3. Select  the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\[POS]\Media and C:\inetpub\wwwroot\[POS]\log folders and right click, and then click on Properties menu option.
4. On folder Properties window select Security tab.
5. On Group or user names list select IIS_USRS group if it exists.  If it does not exist then click add and type the following: [SERVERNAME]\IIS_ USRS and click enter.
6. On permissions for IIS_USRS allow Write permission.
