Managing Director
Biography
After 10 years leading IT and strategy projects with PriceWaterhouse, Fermin started SmarterCommerce to provide clients with focused expertise in deploying the JD Edwards ERP platform across their organizations. Fast-forward and that mission has evolved to delivering digital commerce, retail and payment solutions to a diverse enterprise-level, global client base leveraging JD Edwards and other ERP technologies.
As Managing Director, Fermin oversees strategic customer relationships, technology partnerships, business and product strategy and the overall management of our organization.

Diego is the Director of Product with over 20 years of unified commerce experience and one of the original visionaries and architects of the SmarterCommerce software platform which is now one of the leading unified commerce solutions for Oracle JD Edwards customers. Prior to joining SmarterCommerce, Diego, a Certified Public Accountant, was in the public accounting industry leading financial auditing engagements across a diverse set of industries.
Under Diego’s leadership, SmarterCommerce was developed and introduced to the Oracle JD Edwards marketplace as a unified commerce solution providing world-class capabilities in the areas of ecommerce, mobile, payments and retail.

Alex Rodriguez
Director of Technical Services
Biography
Alex began his career with SmarterCommerce in Miami in 1994 while studying Computer Science at Florida International University. Using his passion for problem solving and creative solutions he quickly developed a strong knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and worked on developing the technology foundation for SmarterCommerce solutions. Today as the Senior Technical Services Manager he oversees strategic projects and is always looking for new opportunities to leverage emerging technology to bring additional value to SmarterCommerce customers.
His focus continues to be on assisting customers with their digital commerce and payments initiatives by providing solid and secure solutions.

Biography
After graduating from Florida International University, Jerry joined the SmarterCommerce team full time to focus on empowering the Sales and Marketing team to better communicate and serve JD Edwards customers with the unique SmarterCommerce value proposition.
Today, Jerry oversees all Sales and Marketing activities, campaigns and initiatives including strategic customer opportunities.

Biography
Rachael’s love and understanding of computer software began in middle school and parleyed into a career supporting others who do not find computing as instinctive. As Manager of both our Quality Assurance and ServicePlus Support teams, she depends on her passion for learning, her desire to teach others, and her nurturing disposition, along with over 25 years of JD Edwards expertise and over a decade of SmarterCommerce experience to support our customers and improve their customer experience. Through her work, her goal is to improve our product and deliver an outstanding experience to all of our customers. Her relaxed communication style, attention to detail, and sunny disposition make her a unique member of our management team.

Biography
Carlos's journey started in 1999, when he accepted the invitation to be part of the JD Edwards Development Team at “Grupo Premier’s” Costa Rica office. He quickly discovered and developed a critical skill for any developer - good problem solving skills. In 2003 he accepted the opportunity to be a part of the first generation of the SmarterCommerce development team. Today as Program Manager he oversees strategic projects and is always looking for new opportunities to bring additional value to SmarterCommerce customers.

Biography
A former customer, Jorge came from America Online (AOL) Latin America to lead the JD Edwards consulting practice at SmarterCommerce. His experience in technology spans more than three decades covering a broad range of customer service-oriented roles internationally.
As Client Services Manager, Jorge oversees the JD Edwards Consulting department, Oracle Sales and Licensing, AvaTax Projects and strategic opportunities in the private and public sectors.

Financial Controller
Biography
Prior to SmarterCommerce, Elsa led the financial reporting department at ProSource Distributions (formerly known as Burger King Distribution Services) and was previously the controller at Acer Latin America. Elsa is the controller at SmarterCommerce, responsible for maintaining financial systems and processes, as well as domestic and international tax research and planning. She brings a wide range of accounting experience including in areas such as process improvements, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis.

Human Resources Manager
Biography
With an entire career in professional services including 13 years with Price Waterhouse, Neil is convinced that the SmarterCommerce team includes the most talented, dedicated, hardworking, committed, creative and compassionate group of professionals that he has ever had the privilege of working with! Neil joined the team in 1996 which enabled him to participate in a remarkable journey of growth and success! Neil is happy to share that the average tenure of our local team members with us is more than 17 years. This speaks volumes about SmarterCommerce, team members and most importantly the great benefits this provides for our customers.
