Sitefinity License Change
If you have installed the SmarterCommerce module in a Sitefinity that did not have the Personalization module licensed, and the license is upgraded to activate this module it is required to reinstall the SmarterCommerce module.
Follow these steps to uninstall the module:
- Open the Sitefinity Backend, and log in using an Administrator Account.
- Navigate to Administration -> System -> Modules & Services and uninstall SmarterCommerce module.
- Find SmarterCommerce module.
- Click on “Actions” dropdown and select “Deactivate” option. Click on “Deactivate this module” button.
- Click again on “Actions” dropdown and select “Uninstall” option. Click on “Uninstall this module” button.
- Click once again on “Actions” dropdown and select “Delete” option. Click on “Delete this module” button
- Open the SmarterCommerceCMS.config contained in Sitefinity Ecommerce CMS/AppData/Sitefinity/Configuration and set the updateUserProfileTypeFields in True.
8. Once the
module is uninstalled proceed to register it again. Check the steps in the SmarterCommerce CMS Integration 7.0.0 Installation Guide – “Register
the SmarterCommerce Module” section.
