Canonical URL Configuration
A canonical URL is the URL of a page that browsers choose as the most representative of a set of duplicate pages. Often called deduplication, this process helps the browser show only one version of the otherwise duplicate content in its search results.
Validate that the Canonical URL is set as Auto.
- Open the Sitefinity Backend, and log in using an Administrator Account.
- Navigate to Administration -> Settings -> Advanced -> System -> Content Locations.
- In the Canonical URL resolver dropdown box, set the Auto option.
- Click Save changes.
