Overview
For over 100 years, Dayton Lamina has been the world’s leading producer of manufacturing tools, including special punches, die components, die details, and metal stamping tools. Their work has assisted industries ranging from automotive and technology to household appliances and plastic production, making them a trusted company across various industries and the world.
In 2022, Dayton Lamina wanted to improve their processes and keep up with competitors moving into the ecommerce space. Since the merger in 2014 between Dayton Progress and Anchor Lamina (creating the name Dayton Lamina), their websites were divided among several sources, so their customers had no single source of truth to reference for their products or content.
They also had strict non-negotiables for a new site: it had to integrate with JD Edwards, it should be a single platform for both ecommerce and content, and it had to integrate with a 3rd-party configurator. These requirements made finding a solution difficult, but they were determined to find a company that would serve all of their needs.
During their search, they came across several potential solutions, but these solutions either didn’t meet their requirements or were far too costly to justify.

As for the 3rd-party configurator, Dayton Lamina wanted proof that our team would be able to provide the tools they need. Our demonstration not only proved such a tool was possible, but it far exceeded the Dayton Lamina team's expectations.
Today, Dayton Lamina continues to provide excellence and ease to their customers through the new site. They now operate in three economies, and their ecommerce site automatically updates to match the currency and language of the country the client is purchasing in. Clients can even pick and choose which country they want to buy from to ensure they are getting the best strategic advantage for their industry.
