Advanced Edit
The Quick Edit screen is helpful, but there may be times when you need to edit information that is not available on the Quick Edit Screen. The Advanced Edit screen has functionality that will allow you to review and edit information such as product availability, price breakdown, kit components, branch plant, taxable flag, shippable flag, and line level notes. To access the Advanced Edit screen press the Edit button for the line in the cart. Then press Advanced. Remember to press Apply once all edits are complete.

| Action | .png) In the top right corner of the Advanced Edit screen is the Product Details action icon. When pressed you will be redirected to the Product Details screen for the product. |
| Product Number | Displays the product being edited. |
| Description 1 | Display Product Description 1 (display only). |
| Quantity | Used to change the quantity to other than 1 (no negatives allowed). Touch or click in this field to bring the calculator display. |
| Unit of Measure (UOM) | Used to enter or change the unit of measure (UOM) for the selected product. |
| Unit Price | Used to enter or change the unit price on the selected product. Only POS users with price override permission are able to perform this action. Touch or click in this field to open the calculator display. If no permission available the login screen will display instead for someone with proper access to perform this operation. Depending on the configuration of your Management Console unit price may include sales tax. Depending on the configuration of your Management Console and JDE System Settings (P0000) the unit price may be in a foreign currency. |
| Extended Price | Displays the unit price X quantity. |
| Tax Amount | Displays the tax amount for the line. If you are using AvaTax please consult the SmarterCommerce Avalara AvaTax Connector for JD Edwards manual for more information. |
| Shippable | Displays the quantity that is shippable for the line. |
| Backordered | Displays the quantity backordered for the line. If the customer accepts partial orders it is possible to have some shippable and some backordered. |
| Cancelled | Displays the quantity cancelled for the line. If the customer does not accept partial orders the quantity requested will be cancelled if any portion is on backorder. |
| Availability | Press the button to view product availability across all branch plant locations that are configured for your store. To see your inventory across all branches slide the toggle to View All Branch Plants. Please note that if the Management Console is set to bypass inventory commitments this can impact your availability. |
| Price Breakdown | When pressed this button displays the details of how the unit price was calculated for the selected line item. |
| Edit Components | When a kit product is sold the standard/required products are added to the order by default. However, when this button is pressed the user can include or exclude optional kit components. Depending on the parent item setup the kit price will dynamically recalculate as optional products are added/removed. Currently kit pricing options 1, 2 & 4 are supported. Selected kit components are not visible in the POS cart, but will be printed on the receipt. |
| Branch / Plant | Displays the store warehouse where merchandise is being sold from. Users with permission to select from all branch plants (ALL) can choose to sell from a different branch plant if needed. |
| Taxable | Used to override the taxable flag. Touch or click in this field to toggle product taxable flag as Yes or No for the selected product. Only POS users with proper permissions are able to perform this action. Touch or click in this field to edit. If no permission available the login screen will display instead for someone with proper access to perform this operation. |
| Pickup | Used to mark the selected line item for pickup instead of carryout from counter. Touch or click in this field to toggle into a pickup condition. |
| Line Level Notes | Enter notes/comments specific to this product in this area. |
