Maintain Environment
To search for a specific environment enter the appropriate search criteria and click Search. To maintain a specific environment click the tile. There are three tabs you can access to maintain/edit an environment as seen below. Remember to press Save when you are finished editing. Please note there is a Restore Jobs button. The purpose is to re-create missing scheduler jobs such as:
- Abandoned Shopping Cart
- Temporal Documents Purge
- Most Viewed Purge
- Scheduler Jobs Purge
It is possible to add new URLs to an existing environment. If you are using a server farm, please contact support for more information.
Environments

Configuration

Auto Sync Business Layer Settings | When this setting is ON all the Environment instances (business layers) configuration files are synchronized with the settings that are entered in this page: JDE Xml Interop Connection String, JDE Database Connection String, etc. Recommended setting value ON. |
CMS Compatibility | Is this a CMS environment? |
Encryption Enabled | Indicates if the Environment instances (business layers) configuration files are encrypted or not. |
Debug Tracing Enabled | Indicates if Debug Tracing is enabled or not. Trace logs are helpful when trying to report or resolve an issue. |
JDE Xml Interop Connection String | The connection string has all the information required to connect a JDE environment via XML Interoperability, such as server name, profile credentials, environment, and port number between others. This will be the user used to determine default MCU if you use Default Location & Printers (P400951). |
JDE Sessions Control Pool | Used to adjust the JDE Session Pool to initialize the connections as soon as possible instead of on the first request. You can include different ConnRecycleTime settings for Miscellaneous and Regular Sessions. You can include different MaxConnShare settings for Miscellaneous and Regular Sessions. You can also adjust the JDE Session to deliver older sessions next, based on LastActivityTim. |
System Database Connection | The connection string has all the information needed to connect to the SmarterCommerce database. |
JDE Database Connection String | The connection string has all the information needed to connect to the database (Oracle/DB2/ or MSSQL) where all Stored Procedures Objects were deployed. |
SC Database Connection String | The connection string has all the information needed to connect to the database. Database is used to store the following: Images, Published Catalogs, Email templates, Failed Documents, and Website most viewed products. |
