Lines of business (LOB) are used to streamline the definition of new customers or consumers when a web account is created. A line of business groups a series of business characteristics that a customer or consumer inherits when assigned to it. However, before you can assign a customer or consumer to a LOB the LOB must exist. When a LOB is selected the default data will be overwritten with the LOB selections.
