Maintain Web Account


To search for a specific web account enter the appropriate search criteria and click Search. To maintain the web account record click on the selection link. You will be able to edit/correct any information that is not protected. Please note there are three tabs available on this maintenance screen and they are User, Permissions, and Preferences as described below. Upon entry of the information click Save.


User
Name Explanation
User Name The web account identification used to access the Ecommerce solution (an email address). This will also be used as the Sitefinity Username and Email Address fields.
Change Password Once pressed you will be able to create a new password for the web account.
Resend Welcome Email When pressed the Welcome email will be sent to the web account.
Force Password Change at Next Login When checked the web account will be prompted to change their password the next time they login to the CMS.
Address Type Displays the type of address (customer, consumer, or salesperson) used when the account was created. The information is retrieved from FQ67101. WA$9TYP
Address Number/ Contact Id Depending upon the address type selected, either the Oracle-JD Edwards address Book Number and Who’s Who Contact ID or the Consumer address Number and Contact Id.
Executive Sales Person

This option is available only for salesperson accounts. 

Checked - When checked the salesperson will be allowed to search and associate new clients from within Ecommerce. 

Un-Checked - If the salesperson is not marked as an executive salesperson new clients must be related through Management Console.  For more information please see the Related Clients section below.

Email Address The email address associated with the Address Book number and Contact ID of the web account. If a web account is created without an email then the user name will be used as the email. 
Ship To Here you either choose a default ship to from a listing of addresses already related to the address number of the web account (by pressing the  icon) or you can choose an unrelated ship to as the default (by clicking on Add New).
Preferred Language for Internal Communications A user defined code that specifies a language to use in communications with the web account.
T&C Acceptance Status Displays if Terms & Conditions have been accepted or not.
Account Status Active

A flag that indicates if the user has been disabled or is active.  Normally a user is disabled when it no longer forms part of the company.  Possible values are:

Checked User can access the system

Not Checked User has been disabled

Account Locked-out

A flag that indicates if the user has been locked out.  Normally a user is locked out through repeated login attempt failures. (Refer to Security Policies for number of attempts designation)  Possible values are:

Checked User has been locked out

Not Checked User has not been locked out

This account is changing status from Inactive to Active or from Locked to Unlocked, do you want to notify the web user about this change? If the account is moving from inactive to active - or - moving from locked out to not locked out this option will show allowing you to send an email notifying the user that their account is now active.

Product Cross Reference On Default value for new contacts to determine if item cross reference functionality is on or off.
Receive Inf. Via Email Default value for new contacts to determine if they wish to receive emails from your company or not.
Receive Email When Customer Places an Order (Sales and Quote) Determines if the sales person will receive an email when a related customer places a sales order or quote order.
Receive Inf. Via Standard Mail Default  value for new contacts to determine if they wish to receive mail from your company or not.
Allow Sharing of Email Address Default value for new contacts to determine if you can share their email address or not.
Receive Email from Affiliates Default value for new contacts to determine if they wish to receive emails from your affiliates or not.
Mail Content Preference

The new contact's preference in type of mail received.  Values can be:

  • Informational
  • Promotional
  • Both
View Pricing Information
Determines if the web user is allowed to see pricing and price break information. If the web user does not have permission they can still browse your catalog, but they won't see pricing.
Add Products to Cart
Determines if the web user is allowed to see the add to cart button.  If this permission is off the web user will still be able to browse your catalog, but they won't be able to place anything in their cart for purchase. 
Allow User to Place Orders
If the user does not have permission to place orders then the place order option is hidden.
View Account Balance
If the web user does not have permission to View Account Balance then Account Balance option is hidden.
View Invoice History
If web user does not have permission to View Invoice History then the user is redirected to an internal error page where an error message is displayed. (“You are not authorized to execute this action”).
View Shopping History
If the web user does not have permission to view order history then Shopping History option is hidden.
Modify Cross Reference
Designates if the web user can modify cross reference products.
Pay Invoices
Determines if the web user is allowed to pay invoices.
Schedule Invoice Payments
Determines if the web user will be allowed to schedule (future) payments.
Work With Saved Carts
If the web user does not have permission to work with saved carts then widget is not displayed.
Return Orders
Determines if the web user is allowed to create return orders. 
View Returns History
If the web user does not have permission to view returns history then Returns History option is hidden.
Modify Bill To Address
If the does not have permission to modify the bill to address then the user can edit only shipping instructions. If user is a company then Company Preferences can also be edited. This permission does not impact phone maintenance.
Add Bill To Phone
If user does not have permission to add bill to phones then add new option is hidden.
Modify Bill To Phone
If the web user does not have permission to modify bill to phones then edit and delete options are hidden.
View Ship Tos
If the web user does not have permission to view ship tos then the link to the list is displayed as a label (not linkable) and the total ship tos is hidden.
Add Ship To
If the user does not have permission to add new ship tos the option is hidden.
Modify Ship To Address
If the web user does not have permission to modify ship tos then the user can edit only the nickname and the shipping instructions.
Change Default Ship To
If the user has no permission to change default ship to then the option is disabled.
Order Ship to Address Override
Determines if the web user can add a ship to address override.
View Credit Cards on File
If web user does not have the permission to view credit cards on file then the section is hidden.
Add Credit Card
If user does not have permission to add new credit cards the option is hidden.
Modify Credit Cards
If the user navigates to this view in edit mode and does not have permission to modify credit cards then the user is redirected to an error page.
View Bank Accounts on File
If the user does not have permission to view bank accounts on file then this section is hidden.
Add New Bank Accounts On File
Determines if web user has permission to add new bank accounts on file.
Modify Bank Accounts On File
Determines if the web user has permission to modify bank accounts on file (ACH).
Modify Orders
Allow user to Modify Orders
Cancel Line in Modify order
If the user does not have permission to cancel lines in modify order then the option is hidden.
Insert Line in Modify order
If the user does not have permission then they cannot add/insert a new line into an existing order.  
Quote Order Entry
Determines if the web user is allowed to create quotes.
Quote Order Conversion to Sales Order
If the web user does not have permission to convert quotes then the user is redirected to an internal error page where an error message is displayed. (“You are not authorized to execute this action”).
Memberships
If the user does not have permission to view Memberships then this section is hidden.
Join/Renew Memberships
Determines if the user will have the ability to join or renew their memberships.
Edit Memberships
Allow the user to edit their memberships.
Sales Person Continue Buying for Yourself
With this permission, a sales person may choose to shop and buy items from your site for their own use. Without this permission they may not shop on behalf of themselves and instead shop only on behalf of their related clients.
