How to Use External Plugins Locally

The CMS project references all required external plugins through the CDN, by default. All global plugins are placed in the Page Template and the specific plugins and SmarterCommerce scripts per widget are placed in the _References.cshtml file.

In the case that the user needs to use all external plugins locally (without CDN), please follow the steps below:

1. Go to ~/ResourcePackages/Bootstrap4/MVC/ Views/Layouts and choose the physical page template file (SmarterTek or Basic) that are you using and delete the sections marked with:

<!-- CDN External Plugins -->.

*There are three sections.

2. Copy the _ReferenceLocal.cshtml content into the _References.html file.

3. Now, all the Scripts will be searched in the ~/ResourcePackages/Bootstrap4/MVC/Scripts/ folder.
