You can create a new root level and nest an existing category node underneath or you can reorganize the order of existing nodes. You may also use the Collapse All/Expand All options to show/hide sub-levels as needed as you decide how to re-structure your catalog. Once all edits are complete you may choose to Publish or Save as Draft. 

To begin navigate to the SmarterCommerce menu.  Then, go to Catalogs within Catalog Management and locate the catalog you wish to work with. Then, click on the catalog nodes. Now, click on change catalog structure. 

Reorganize Node Order

1. Click on the category node you wish to move 
2. Use drag and drop functionality to move the root node to the desired position

Create a Root Category Node

1. Press Create a Root Category Node
2. Enter Category name
   
3. Use drag and drop functionality to move the root node to the desired position
