For the purpose of illustrating how Avalara AvaTax Tax Calculation is integrated with SmarterCommerce for a Service Order (SV) our sample repair order will have parts and labor and the customer will require a quote for the repair.
Step 1
Create the service order
Step 2
Attach parts to the service order.
Step 3
Add labor to the service order.
Step 4
Print Service Order Quote (R17711) which will include AvaTax calculations.
Step 5
Once accepted by the customer, execute Service Order to issue parts and enter time for labor. After that, continue with Billing steps to run workfile generation, create and process the invoice.
