Cash In/Out

In the Management Console you can configure a cash in drawer limit.  The cash drawer limit determines the maximum amount of cash that can be in a specific drawer at a time.  If at any time the maximum cash drawer limit is exceeded the cashier will receive a message.  Then, a cash-out transaction can be performed to remove some of the cash from the drawer to bring it back below the cash limit. Likewise, a cash in transaction can be used to add cash to a drawer that might be running low and unable to make change. To perform a cash in transaction choose the Cash In option.

Next, click on the currency you would like to use to add cash to the drawer.  Once selected the Enter Cash Only screen will be presented.  Enter the quantity per denomination you are adding to the drawer and press Done. Once all cash-in transactions have been entered press Done.  The cash will be added to the drawer and a receipt will print.  Please note that if the drawer is currently over the max cash limit the Done button will not be available.  This is because you cannot add cash to a drawer that is already over the cash limit configured in the Management Console.

To perform a cash out transaction choose the Cash Out option. Next, click on the currency you would like to use to remove cash to the drawer.  Once selected the Enter Cash Only screen will be presented.  Enter the quantity per denomination you are removing from the drawer and press Done. Once all cash-out transactions have been entered press Done.  The cash will be removed from the drawer and a receipt will be printed.
