Authorized Credit Card Expiring Report - RQ6704205


Depending upon your processor/bank the time period for an authorization transaction to expire will vary. Some authorizations may expire within 7 days while others may last as long as 30 days. You can use this report to select and update the credit card transaction status to a new status representing original authorization has expired based on this information.  It is recommended that a new status be created representing any authorizations (currently in status ’02’) that have expired (for example status ‘92’.)  The expiration of an authorization will be determined based upon the original authorization date and the processing option settings found below.
