Promotional content is simply content that you create from within this module that is then associated with catalogs and/or catalog nodes as needed.  Unlike the HTML content that is created directly while editing a catalog or catalog node Promotional content is shared content!  That means you can create it once and have the flexibility to associate it with one or many catalogs and/or catalog nodes. Therefore, once you have created promotional content you must edit the catalog and/or catalog node, configure it to use promotional Content, and select the shared content to use.  Additionally, the Catalog and Navigation widgets must be configured to define exactly where on your page(s) you would like the content to display.
