Creating a New Catalog Category Node
A category node is a sub-category of products that are grouped together by some attribute or property. To add a node to an existing catalog click on the Nodes hyperlink and then click Create a Category Node. Once the catalog node is created you will need to define which products will be used to populate the node.
| Name | Explanation |

| Name | A name for the category node that will be displayed on the website. |
| URL Path | This will be the catalog node portion of the URL. |
| Sequence | The sequence on the node within the catalog for display on the website. |
| Featured Category | If category node is featured it can be displayed on the catalog navigator on the left side bar as an option. |
Images and Badges
| Name | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Images | One or more images showcasing the product. |
| Badges | Badges that are associated to the product. Badges are snippets of information to display with the product. |
Configuration
| Name | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Query | You may choose to use an existing query to populate the contents of the category node. |
| Retrieve Nested Products | Select this option to show products instead of category nodes/sub-nodes. The catalog option must be set to use at node level to enable this option. |
| Navigation Links | Can be used at both the catalog and node level to help the user navigate to their desired product listing. |

| HTML Content | HTML content created within the editor on this page is independent and not shared across any other catalog or node. If you have created Promotional Content you may choose it here as needed. |

Search Engine Optimization

| Title for Search Engines | Displayed in browser title bar and in search results. Less than 70 characters are recommended. |
