To open a register drawer select (set focus) the drawer that has a closed status. Next, you will press the Visual Assistance icon and enter the beginning balances per denomination. Please note that any opening balances pre-filled are the amounts that were left in the drawer the last time it was closed. Once all beginning balances are entered (and agreed upon) press Done. Once all beginning balances for all currencies have been entered press Open Drawer. An open drawer report will print and the drawer will be opened. Once the drawer is open there are four additional functions that can be performed. You can review transactions details for a specific drawer, add cash to the drawer, remove cash from the drawer, or close the drawer. Each of these options will be discussed below.
