External - How to Use This Service
To use this service, it is recommended to use the setup plugin because the service “JsAuth” must be called to validate the authorization token configured in Management Console, this service also returns an encoded token that is used as a parameter to call the “AddProductsToCart” service. It is important that the set up plugin is referenced before the reference to call “AddProductsToCart” service. Please refer to Setup section to learn more about using the set up plugin.
If the user decides not to use the setup plugin, then the authorization token can be obtained using this method:
After the auth token is obtained, now the “AddProductsToCart” service can be called. To do this it is recommended to create a javascript file that contains an Ajax call to the service. It is important to mention that this service also needs an extra parameter with the authorization token that was returned from referencing the set up plugin. This token can be taken from a cookie called “sc_auth”. The image below shows an example of how to call the “AddProductsToCart” service, but this can be implemented in many ways, it is up to the user’s decision.
