Next Numbers
In addition to the existing standard JD Edwards numbering sequence (see next numbers within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne™ content help), SmarterCommerce provides a series of additional next number sequences used to automatically assign numbers when certain type of records are being created such as: SmarterCommerce Consumer numbers, membership ids, compliance ship to, SmarterCommerce users among others. SmarterCommerce next numbers must be setup utilizing the SmarterCommerce Next Number application (PQ67002). Next number ids are hard coded values and should not be deleted nor new ones added. Attempting to delete existing next numbers will cause SmarterCommerce software to operate improperly.
