Processing SmarterCommerce Ecommerce Orders Using PayPal® Express Checkout
As previously mentioned PayPal® Express Checkout is a valid payment method only on SmarterCommerce Ecommerce orders. Below is an example of the steps a SmarterCommerce Ecommerce order can make as it moves through the SmarterCommerce and JDE systems using PayPal® Express Checkout as a payment method. Please note your orders may follow these steps or your steps may be different. The intention is to demonstrate how prepayment is integrated into sales order flow.

PayPal Payment Instrument
Payments
Defines the user defined code (00/PY) assigned to PayPal. This payment instrument is used when PayPal is selected as the payment method except from the Shopping Cart.
