Weaver needed an Ecommerce solution that was tightly integrated to JDE and implemented SmarterCommerce Ecommerce to build a complete B2C/B2B site in just 120 days. Since its initial launch, Weaver Leather Supply has seen consumer sales
grow steadily month after month through its web marketing initiatives and high-quality online experience. Customers can walk through the entire checkout process with information provided from JD Edwards, and shop a variety of products.
Weaver upgraded SmarterCommerce Ecommerce to include a Sitefinity CMS integration and has since launched a series of ecommerce stores with Sitefinity for optimal user experience and real-time integration into JD Edwards. The integration
of Sitefinity CMS and the advanced ecommerce capabilities from SmarterCommerce allows Weaver Leather Supply to have a professionally designed website with rich content management, without compromising functionality. The configurability
of both SmarterCommerce and Sitefinity allowed the Weaver Leather IT team to build and launch these websites with minimal third-party assistance.
STONER SOLUTIONS - ECOMMERCE AND CREDIT CARD
Following a comprehensive evaluation of several ecommerce and credit card processing providers for JD Edwards, Stoner selected Premier’s SmarterCommerce Ecommerce and Credit Card Processing solutions because of a high-degree of integration
with JD Edwards, improved efficiency of credit card processing, and fixed fee/fixed scope proposal and speed of implementation.
Stoner implemented SmarterCommerce Ecommerce and Credit Card Processing in an accelerated two-phase efforts spanning just over a just 60 days. The project was completed on-time and on-budget, in line with Premiers' fixed-scope, fixed-fee
service solution. With Premier, Stoner has established an important partnership to extend its JD Edwards applications and take control of its web and phone customer service processes.
Over the years, Stoner's use of SmarterCommerce Ecommerce and Sitefinity CMS has expanded to include multiple digital commerce sites including Stoner Car Care, Stoner Molding, Invisible Glass and Motsenbocker’s Lift Off. Each webstore
has distinct digital branding but uses the same SmarterCommerce integration to JD Edwards. This enables Stoner Solutions to manage a series of webstores that cater to the customer base of each brand, utilizing a single technology solution.
CHART PARTS - ECOMMERCE
Chart Industries is a global leader in the design and manufacture of highly engineered cryogenic equipment used in the liquid gas supply chain. Chart Industries also managed a digital commerce store (ChartParts) that featured replacement
components for products manufactured by Chart and other manufacturers of cryogenic, beverage CO2 and LNG products. Challenges arose with the usability of ChartParts as it did not feature JD Edwards integration and included dated branding
and UX. Chart Industries initiated a process to select a vendor that would provide a more modern and unified approach to ChartParts.
After a rigorous selection process, Chart Industries selected SmarterCommerce Ecommerce and Progress Sitefinity CMS to upgrade its existing ChartParts digital commerce site. The user interface was designed to cater to an exclusively B2B
audience. Additionally, part diagrams are a crucial component of a customers purchasing experience and were consequently included in the site build. Customers can now locate the system that needs a replacement component and quickly
identify the correct part. Through an integration with JD Edwards, ChartParts leverages all the inventory commitment rules, advanced pricing, and address book information that already resides in JD Edwards.
Further, Sitefinity CMS has enabled Chart Industries to design a sharp and intuitive online shopping experience with a modern UX approach. All this combines to form the new and improved ChartParts.com, giving customers a new level of control,
selection and experience.
